Terms & Conditions
1. Scope
These Terms and Conditions apply to all services arranged by One Retreat (hereinafter referred to as “One Retreat” or “the intermediary”).
One Retreat curates and arranges selected retreat locations, accommodations and related services such as transfers, catering, activities or leisure experiences.
2. Role of One Retreat
One Retreat acts exclusively as an intermediary for individual services.
Even where multiple services (such as accommodation, catering, transfers or activities) are presented, requested or coordinated together, these services are arranged separately and independently.
The contract for each service is concluded directly between the client and the respective service provider (e.g. villa owners, accommodation providers, chefs, transfer companies or activity providers).
One Retreat does not combine services into a single travel product and does not offer package travel or linked travel arrangements within the meaning of applicable laws.
One Retreat is not a contractual party to any of the services provided.
3. Booking
The presentation of retreat locations or services on the website or in proposals does not constitute a binding offer.
A booking becomes binding once it has been confirmed by the client and accepted by the respective service provider.
Each service is confirmed and contracted separately with the respective provider.
By confirming a booking arranged by One Retreat, the client confirms that they have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
4. Payments
Payments for accommodation or services are generally made directly between the client and the respective service provider, unless otherwise agreed.
If payments are processed through One Retreat, this is done solely in the name and on behalf of the respective service provider.
In such cases, One Retreat acts purely as a payment intermediary and not as a service provider or contractual party.
Payment terms, deposits and deadlines are determined by the respective service provider.
5. Intermediation Fee
For the successful arrangement of services, One Retreat receives a commission from the respective partner companies or service providers.
Any intermediation fees are generally already included in the offered services unless explicitly stated otherwise.
This may also apply to future bookings or direct engagements with providers introduced through One Retreat.
6. Changes and Cancellations
Cancellations, changes or modifications of bookings are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective service provider.
These conditions may vary depending on the provider and will be communicated during the booking process.
One Retreat does not assume responsibility for cancellation policies of partner companies.
7. Liability
One Retreat is liable solely for the proper arrangement of services.
One Retreat assumes no liability for the execution, quality, safety, availability or delivery of services provided by third parties.
Any claims related to the performance of the services must be addressed directly to the respective provider.
8. No Responsibility for Combined Services
One Retreat does not assume responsibility for the interaction, combination or overall outcome of separately arranged services.
9. Retreats and Programs
If services are booked in connection with a retreat or program hosted by a third party, the respective retreat leader or organiser is solely responsible for the content and execution of such program.
One Retreat acts only as an intermediary for the underlying services.
10. Force Majeure
If services cannot be provided or are significantly affected due to circumstances beyond reasonable control (such as natural events, government measures, strikes or similar circumstances), the terms of the respective service provider shall apply.
11. Data Protection
Personal data will be processed in accordance with the applicable privacy policy of One Retreat.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The contract language is English. Translations into other languages may be provided for convenience only.
